This was an assignment where we were given the task of redesigning the wayfinding system for Deakin University Library. This included pictograms, pocket map and signage.
First part of the assignment was to make pictograms for every category that exists at the Deakin Library. Each category was chosen as to make it easy for the students to distinguish them apart when scouring through the shelves.
The pictograms were first put in use here on the pocket map. I designed the map to be durable, easy to use and cheap to mass-produce.
The final part of the assignment was to merge what had already been made to a complete and coherent wayfinding system.
